Just remembered my odd dream – the diagnosis was left leg thinking/acting like it’s the right leg. Don’t ask me how that’s possible.
To “treat” that condition, I had powdered Olanzapine (schizophrenic medication) in a little box strapped around my left ankle – every time my leg acts up, I had to shake my leg to dispense the powder.
I think I’m working too hard.

Watched Pride & Prejudice again – balls & social dancing seems fun! Love the courtship (minus the women’s total dependency on marriage for survival). Really love that era (in movies – I think I’d die living in that era but Julie says we would have servants *haha*) Gushing over Pride & Prejudice with Julie!

Really frustrated. Why did I start telling the story about being a sales rep to Jantina right after talking about hair conditioner??? I can’t remember! This is terrible – I possibly have to increase my fish oil intake. I’ve actually done this while explaining/talking to a customer (thankfully at that time, I remembered my story in the end).

It’s been a while since I’ve been to the movies – today I watched “Bridesmaids” with Jantina and Deidre. The part I loved most? The door gifts at the bridal shower!

It took me a few months to find my “i” stamp, I wonder how long it would be before I find my used Farmer’s gift card (I want it as a keepsake). Hmmm…

Last night with lower braces. It’s coming off tomorrow and after that, dental hygienist appointment to get a good clean!

Hmmm I thought we get $0.80 off if we bring your own Starbucks tumbler. Now it’s only $0.40 & if I didn’t ask, she would’ve charged full price!

Anyway, the (lower) braces are off! Will be going back later to get the splint.

My incisors (bottoms one, especially) are sensitive to scaling so Jacqui gave me this to try. It’s (as its name states) suppose to provide rapid relief to any sensitivity – here’s hoping it works!
I had to run off at the end of my appointment (even though it’s not quite all cleaned) because I made an appointment to view the flat again – this time with Samantha, Michelle and Jantina. I wanted to get an honest opinion because I think I’ve got “flat goggles”.

It was on this day that I learned loyalty meant nothing in my current job. So many times/examples that the ones who are still here are not being appreciated.
*sigh*

Also on this day, Vodafone increased my monthly text allowance to 2500 (any NZ mobile). Too bad I’m not a teenager, I can’t even use up my allowance of 300 last time. Then again, maybe it’s just sad that I haven’t got any friends to text. Boo!

Surprise in the mail!
Don’t know why this often happens – someone trying to get into the package or it’s just wear&tear of delivery?? The writing looked familiar and the return address sounded familiar. Took a few seconds to register in my mind. Thank you, Sze-Mien!

A card and not only one, but TWO wrapped presents!

Looking at this, I wonder if it’s because of the stickiness of the tape that caused my package to be half opened? Made unwrapping the present easier – it’s half done for me.

Though couldn’t figure out why she got me green – not that I dislike it. Then again, I can hardly decide on colours these days. It used to be blue all the way but now I’d go, “Ooooo! That’s pretty, too! Oh! I think that’s a really nice colour!!”

She said she thought of me when she saw this in Singapore.
Awwww! It’s the cutest thing ever! The iced coffee charm comes with little ice cubes in it! She must’ve know that the mahjong phone charm that she got for me last year needs change (it’s looking like it’s seen better days).

Carmen rang me at work to tell me I’ve got a courier pack to be picked up from the Hastings post shop – I had a feeling it would from Sze-Mien because she told me that one was coming (well, she told me it would be there before LiMay arrives ) – great timing. A day AFTER LiMay left HawkesBay.

Yay!!! So cantik.

I knew I was getting a tumbler as a gift, I didn’t know it was only my birthday gift.
(Side note: I texted Sze-Mien, “going to be ungrateful but I was expecting fancier mug design coming fr u. “)

I have a Christmas gift, too! It was gorgeously wrapped.

I have this on my phone now – will bring it ALL around, especially for my mahjong games!

When the package finally got here, the stamps and the writing gave the sender away (also, she had her return address at the back lah).

I also knew what I was getting – that is the pesky bit, custom declaration. Can’t even properly surprise people if you want to send something overseas.

Mind you, I was excited to open it up but because I just HAD to take a picture (and Carmen borrowed my camera for the day)…I left it till I got home. Talk about will power!

Before I show you pictures of the groceries I got sent today, I will show you something else!

You see, the groceries were expected mah…this one, I expected it to come also but didn’t think it was THAT soon.

I love packages! Though I paid for this one…

…because they offer free shipping and with that, it’s cheaper than buying it from here.
Initially I did think of buying from US (which much cheaper!) but it’s for 2009 – I don’t want to wait till February to be able to start using it!

I did think of asking the girls back home if Starbucks was going to have that stamp collection thing again…but I would need their help to get it.
Being the Cina that I am, I did some maths – this would be cheaper than spending money on 18 drinks/food item from Starbucks. So it’s okay lah, kan?

On to the highlight of the day – as with my current posts, picture post ahead!

I knew it was coming today but I wasn’t sure of what time it’d be here. I planned to wake up at 8am (yea right!) to get an early start for completing my chores and starting as soon as I can on the reflection write-up of my Assignment3 (due this Friday!)…but as usual, I hit the snooze button and laze around for another 15 minutes.
When I finally got up, I turned on the computer to get to DailyBread and not too long after, I heard Carmen calling me, “Are you awake, Jen?”

She brought this in – the delivery van was just driving off when she opened the door.
It’s a box that was used to ship bananas!

“Kindly deliver the goods to Jennifer **** of the address stated. This is a gift for her so be prepared that she will be surprised to receive it. Please give her a call before delivery. Thanks!”

But hor…no signature required. So they just dropped it off at the door. And it wasn’t me at the door looking surprised (and I wouldn’t be because they rang me up last Wednesday!), instead it was Carmen looking surprised, I think.
