Test blog for theme development

One picture for you and I.
If you noticed, it’s a bigger sized picture than what I normally put up (yes, it took me this long to realise the previous size is just too small to “appreciate” the pictures I put up) – not that you can compare the pictures now because it’s all gone. Changing directories and starting new (again!) – pictures would be bigger (I myself am getting old, can’t see nuts when my pictures are so small! :P )

The theme I’m working on doesn’t look like much (hey, it’s from scratch – with the help of a tutorial, no less) but I am getting the hang of the codes/commands – which ones are to be tweaked and which ones are to be left alone.
And always validate, validate, validate!
:hee:

Working on it, step by step
It’s going to suck the life out of me – and I don’t need to be online since I am doing it on my computer (note the “localhost” on the picture’s URL). Will look into the aesthetic part soon.

Meanwhile, my eyes, neck and back are killing me…
:pfft:

Safari Top Sites
Yay for Safari!

I mentioned some time ago it died on me and I had to switch to Firefox. I deleted and re-installed it but nothing happened. I couldn’t even get a blank page to load.

It came alive while I was working on the WP theme yesterday – weird. But the good kind of weird, so I’m happy!
:mmm:

When we were studying in the UK, the 3-mobile network was introduced towards the end of our year there.

Now, they are introducing 2°-mobile network in NZ (launching in August).
Let’s see what they can offer when the time comes (they are not telling yet).

Am recently looking at mobile phones again – I hope they launch the GSM Pre soon!

The day before I travel, my compact decided to die on me.
:grr:

I was trying to take a macro shot and the lens gave a weird whirr. When I tried to refocus on the subject, the display went blank and in the end – “Lens error, restart camera.”
The lens is still extended – I can’t even get it to retract after turning the camera on/off for a few times (I even tried taking the battery out for a few minutes).

:bum:

I was hoping it will come right on its own but it doesn’t look like it’s going to do that anytime soon.

I will bring it into work to see if they can fix it for me (or know what’s wrong) – why do I keep having problems with cameras?!
*sigh*

Well, maybe I’d take less pictures for this trip or I’d take *cough*better*cough* pictures because I only have the other camera to use now.

iPhone 3G S is arriving in NZ 10th July and it’s going to retail at $50 more than the previous model at $1179 for the 16GB model (launching price).

The 3G is going for $979 now…but I wonder if there is an error because both the 8GB and 16GB is going for $979 (this would mean there is no reduction in price for the 8GB whatsoever)

*twiddles thumbs*

Hmmm…

Palm Pre
Image taken from Palm’s website.

Wheee!
They’ve announced it.
Now when can we get just the phone without being tied to an operator?
