Come to Me, all who are weary,
And I will give you rest.
Come to Me, My yoke is easy
And My burden, it is light
- Jadon Lavik -
This chorus kept running through my head in church today.
The sermon was about lost souls and I can’t help thinking about you (with this chorus in the background of my thoughts).
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Matt 11:28-30
With what you’re going through, I’m sure it feels/looks like there is no hope except death to escape the pain and fear…but with God, there IS hope. I hope you will come to realise that soon and if you call out to Him, He will meet you there. It’s a guarantee.
Happy birthday Jesus!
Blessed Christmas everybody!
Had a pretty low-key-food-full celebration today. I had to work from 1pm to 5pm (this is my 3rd working Christmas since I came here but I can’t complain because I wanted New Year’s off to meet LiMay) but Carmen’s parents were kind enough to start lunch earlier just to accommodate my work schedule. Since I was told we’d only kick off at about 10am, I got a sleep in!

Do I look like a Who?
Probably a scary Who. *haha*

My Christmas presents from Carmen!

Outfit for the day. This is as cheerful as it gets in my wardrobe – and yes, it’s the same one I had on during CNY.

When the phone ping-ed, I thought that was it. I had to pack my bags.
To my relief, You have answered prayers. I don’t know how it happened, but thank You Lord.
I cannot share on what exactly happened (I don’t even know how it did, to be honest) but know that it was God who delivered me.
Such a relief! I could breathe again.
Impeccable timing that this was played when I turned on my music.

Everything right
Everything beautiful is You
The good that I am
Is just a reflection of You too
Even the best this world can do
Will never be close to what I’ve found in You
Nothing I have compares to You
Nothing I have compares to You, to You
…
These things I buy, these things I do
None can take the place of You
- Jadon Lavik -
