HokeyPokey ice-cream is soooooooooo good.
The fact that they have crunchy bits of toffee in my all-time favourite “basic” flavour ice-cream is good enough for me to keep going to the freezer for more.

My plan to lose a kilo a month before my trip back home is not panning out well.

That tub of HokeyPokey calling out from the freezer is definitely not helping. Maybe I should finish it off and be rid of it today.

Drug dealer/pusher.
These are my bread and butter.
(Empty capsules lah from the Itraconazole capsules that I thought were too pretty to throw out – it was empty because I had to painstakingly compound Itraconazole suspension last week.)

Another random picture – the star is now complete but I couldn’t put it over my bedside lamp because then it would be too dark.
I like it as deco. It sits above the redundant fireplace in my room and at least there’s a “feature” to look at besides the frog on my bed. *hehe*

This is where “spontaneous” started.
I went off for groceries and thought of making RockyRoad using Nigela’s recipe (been watching her foodie episodes on TVNZ OnDemand) – then I thought of putting together a “little” shout for my birthday (belated but they found out *haha*).

I know I’ve already posted a photo of the apron but this time I’m actually USING it.
Carmen helped me snap this picture but the rolling-pin was too small to seem intimidating. *haha* Yea, it was a mini rolling-pin that I used to bash up those Marie biscuits.

I think I should’ve used MORE chocolate – not enough chocolate to cover everything smoothly!

This was my humble shout – I wanted a balance of sweet and “savoury”.

I keep saying I’m lazy.

I keep saying I’m tired.

I keep saying I’ve got no time to do things.

Guess what I’ve been doing these two days after practices, when I have a little time at home?

Bake and experimenting some other recipes.

I’m motivated to do everything else except work. Actually, that’s a lie. I’m just motivated by anything to do with food and its preparation at the moment. It’s…a phase, I think.

Or not. I don’t know. I am turning into a “mom”! I feel happy to bake/cook/make something to give to others.

I’m very happy that I’ve finally managed to bake a batch of banana cupcakes. Previously it’s either too dense or the taste of banana is lacking.
This is just nice – moist, not dense and can taste bits of banana!

My other project is this – sesame seed ball (I know it as zhin dui).
I also made the red bean paste myself (my goodness! Soaked beans overnight, boil, blend, add sugar, cook till dry…can die)
