special events

It’s 12am Malaysian/HongKong time by the time this gets published.

Hope you’ll like this little put-together. A very rushed put-together.
I would’ve like to put in captions and figure out how to extend the timing of the captions…but I want to put this video out by midnight. Had to sacrifice something lor! Record video in my PJs, even!
:hee:

Sorry that the video is not canggih. It’s my first time using iMovie and no movies to edit – had to pick photos (that took a while because had so many photos to go through! :P )

I started at 9pm and I’m uploading it at 130am.
:sidelook:

Enjoy yourself, Hazel!
xoxo

Got back from “reunion dinner” (with Samantha and Alex in Napier) and checked on my zhai choy. Despite not having the Chinese cabbage, okay kot.

I’ve mixed in the remaining fu juk, boiled rice, showered…now I have to change my duvet cover, “perm” my hair, paint nails gold+red and…oh, sleep!
:P

Feels like the hustle bustle of CNY eve when mom rushes off to get all ching ching-ed.
:hee:

Now I’m going to get all ching ching-ed!

And after that, prepare the bag to take to work tomorrow – must have enough space for lunch (for two) and tarts+kuih.

I need my rest!

Happy Chinese New Year!!! :D

Save the date
When I first saw “JLow”, I thought it was from Julie because that’s what she calls herself (She goes, “I’m also J-Lo what.”)
Then I saw the Australian stamp and went ooo!

Save the date
Lovey sticker at the back.

Save the date
It’s a save-the-date for Joanne’s wedding next year in Adelaide. With a magnet so you can stick it on your fridge and not forget.
*hehe*

This would make it the third cousin getting married to a third nationality in a third continent.
Julie+Ronald’s wedding was in Netherlands. Ronald is Dutch.
Manda+Mike’s wedding was in America. Mike is American.
Bobo+Arron’s wedding is going to be in Australia. Arron is Australian.

Global-nya cousins aku! :hee:

D'lish
D’lish at MidValley.

Supposed to be a dinner meet-up but we had some drinks and cupcakes at D’lish – to “celebrate” Aveline and KuangHuei’s birthday (both coming up next week). So thoughtful of ShwuYan to present them both with birthday cards…the rest of us came unprepared.
:P

It’s more of a meet-up than celebrating Siow’s belated birthday – there was no cake! At least it’s still March!
:P

I’ve never heard of this restaurant before and have never been there – though it’ relatively easy to get there if you know PJ area…or if you’re like me, I used UH as a starting point to ask for directions from LiMay.
:hee:

We were at Ah Yat Abalone Forum Restaurant in the morning for dim sum…it’s the start of our day as tai-tai’s (at least, for some of us).

AhYat Abalone Forum Restaurant
Panjangnya nama!
Siow, Siow and LiMay were there when I arrived.
I didn’t accidentally type another “Siow”…her sister was there. I don’t know how to spell her “Ching” mah.
:P
Sister was designated driver because BigMamaGoh don’t allow SmallMamaGoh to drive.
*hehe*
