family & friends

Slept in and woke up in time for brunch.
:P

Second day
Had half-boiled eggs with toast. Yum!!!

After sending dad to HospitalMawar, I met up with korkor at Senawang. They wanted to meet somewhere where they could just go back on the highway towards JB and since it’s just the 2nd day of CNY, I doubt any Chinese eateries would be open. Guess where we went?
:hee:

Second day
Mama very “旺”!

Second day
*hehe*
No complaints about having lunch here.

Second day
Second’s day dinner not too exciting as dad didn’t want to have leftovers and he didn’t want to cook after dialysis. It’s okay, chicken rice is good for me.
:)

Second day
Went to drop off JoFo’s presents at her house.
Dear, blur friend. Was expecting a different initial reaction from her when she looked into the paper bag, but it’s okay. It’s very JoFo.
:P

Second day
This photo had a funny story behind it. When I asked her mom to help take a picture, I must’ve muffled my question because she replied, “Aiyor! Don’t want to take picture now lah. So chan.”
I was a bit taken back because I thought, “Wah! We look that bad meh?”
:P

Went to U.Hong’s place after and thus, the second day of CNY sneaked past me.

I had a few things I felt like I wanted/had to do on this day – go back to Seremban for service, go back to Seremban to spend time at home, stay back in Subang – but I could only do so much and I HAD to choose. I chose to stay in Subang in the morning and go back home to Seremban at noon.

Happy CNY!
Breakfast is served!
:hee:

Happy CNY!
Went to U.Hong’s place and here he is, serenading his wife on Valentine’s Day.
*haha*

Happy CNY!
My aunt looking quite lum-ed.

The day started quite early for me (considered early because I usually sleep in on days I don’t have to work – which is everyday since I’m on holiday! *hehe*) – korkor asked me to BE at Subang by 9am but…

I think I arrived at about 945am and SOMEONE WAS STILL ASLEEP! Only by 11am (some dusting and changing of curtains later) we left the house and I was starving!

CNY eve
We in the backseat…

CNY eve
…they at the front.
It’s nice to be chauffeured around. *hehe*

CNY eve
雲吞麵! On my “must eat this time” list.
Unfortunately it wasn’t a very good plate of 雲吞麵. First of all, they seem to have run out of plates and soup bowls (they were stacked in a big pail behind the stall) – so my noodles were served on a styrofoam plate. Not even a sliver of vegetable! A few pieces of 叉燒 and 雲吞 splattered on the side of the plate.
:pfft:

To top it all, it cost RM4.50!!! Korkor said it must be the CNY eve price.

I didn’t follow korkor back to Subang after picking mom up from the airport.
:sidelook:

Satay
It took me AGES to get from Seremban2 to Senawang – just for this! It was well worth it…oh! I meant, y’know, meeting up with old friends.
:P

Satay
Why so serious one?

Satay
Have no idea what they were talking about, I’m just there for the food.
:hee:

Satay
Stipppp!
I know it’s all blur and doesn’t do you justice but it was the only photo of you that I had in my camera.

Satay
Eiz.

Contemplated for a while, whether or not to go to JJKwan’s place but they all decided against it. In a way I’m glad, because I have to get up early to go to KL tomorrow morning. If they were to have a get together, I’d be super kiasu and not want to be left out…and will probably end up utterly exhausted when I have to drive tomorrow morning.
:hee:

Welcome back to the heat and humidity. It’s a love-hate thing, I guess.
I went out with dad to Maxis to get his mobile sorted (apparently he couldn’t send out any texts) and I had to wait for him in the car because I couldn’t get a park.

Thursday
Sweat!

Thursday
Well, I actually HAD a park but it was behind the building.
I was minding my own business, carrying the tray of eggs in my hand (and cans of pineapple in my bag) back to the car when I heard the sound of a motorcycle and I felt my bag hitting my ribs on the right. There was an older Chinese man standing not 3 feet from me saying, “You have to be careful, he was trying to rob you!”
That young Indian fart (he looked quite young) had the cheek to turn back and look if I fell or something. If only my reflexes kicked in earlier, I should’ve reached for one of the cans in my bag and threw it at him.

So there…my trusty bag. Torn. It was a freebie from Lancome (and it came from mom) but it served me well for YEARS!
:grr:
