<p>Okay. So I procrastinated in sending a card out and thus I chose to order flowers online to send it to mom for her birthday. The typical <em>cina</em> in me thought the most &#8220;value for money&#8221; would be the potted rose plant. It looked really cute, okay? Let me show you what I mean.</p>

I chose the pink one because it looked sweeter than the yellow.</p>
<p>When I got the email this morning confirming that my order has been delivered, I called mom to ask if she liked what she saw. I was even confident I&#8217;d get a happy, excited, gushy response. Instead, she went, &#8220;Oh&#8230;uhmm&#8230;next time don&#8217;t waste this kind of money okay.&#8221;</p>
<p><em>&#8220;Oh. Why? You don&#8217;t like it?&#8221;</em></p>

<p>Then she went on to say that it&#8217;s the thought that counts and I asked her how did it look like. She told me that when she got the box, there was soil all over in the box. She thinks the box was not stored upright during delivery. There&#8217;s the other issue about the plant being <em>botak</em> of its leaves and flowers. Basically what she described was a half dead (if not dead and dried!) plant. I was shocked and I felt really bad that she received such a lousy gift. I know it wasn&#8217;t my fault in the delivery of it (unless if it&#8217;s someone wanting to carry out a really sick joke) but I felt so embarrassed that she got what she got &#8211; how would you feel when you receive half dead flowers from a loved one? Exactly! I was expecting this lush looking plant (refer to screen shot at the top)!</p>
<p>I went online to check out their guarantee and searched for reviews of their services &#8211; you guessed it, it has happened to other people before. Honestly, how do they make the money? From people who do not complain? Mom said she will get Emily&#8217;s help to snap a photo of the plant and send it to me. I thought I may need that before I lodge a complaint. I only thought of making the complaint after reading their guarantee &#8211; GUARANTEE okay? </p>

<p>I felt really stink to complain but hey, if it was not EXACTLY the same, I understand &#8211; but we&#8217;re talking about viability of a plant. This gift is suppose to &#8220;last for years&#8221;.<br />

<p>The reply was quite prompt &#8211; offering replacement or refund or store vouchers. I checked with mom and she said she didn&#8217;t want to go through another lot of sad looking plant (in the reply email, no mention of guaranteeing the state of the plant) arriving at the office. I asked for the refund and got another email not too long after informing me that it will take 5-7 days to fully process it.</p>

What&#8217;s the point of me sending stuff out using your company (I trust you to be REAL QUICK!) if it&#8217;s going to take ages getting there &#8211; or if it&#8217;s going to take the same amount of time if I were to use the local national courier and at half the price to boot?</p>
<p>Picked up from work on 6th May, somewhere past 12pm&#8230;and it was left sitting around till near 8am the next day to be sent to Auckland????????????? Then it takes ANOTHER day to be processed and sent out from Auckland only after 4pm today.<br />

<p>Not happy at all.</p>

<p>I don&#8217;t know why people keep asking me questions that are not really their problem.<br />
I lent my car to friends who needed it. I did it because I know I CAN live without it (I can still walk to get around town. Honestly, it&#8217;s not the end of the world &#8211; I survived 6 months plus without a car!).</p>
<p>I feel really bad when my decision means being an inconvenience to others (thanks Jo and Judy for those rides back) but please don&#8217;t bug me like I&#8217;m a 5 year old who got her toy &#8220;taken&#8221; or something. I agreed because I know they need it more than I do (it&#8217;s only temporary anyway), and walking is not a big deal! Get over it!<br />

<em>Dia kata nak gi tempat yang sama &#8216;ngan pakwe, kononnya nak tinggalkan tempat ni untuk beberapa hari tanpa anak-anak (anak pakwe kerana anaknya dah pergi tempat lain &#8216;ngan ayah anaknya) &#8211; kiranya boleh pergi bersama, lebih seronok katanya. Nanti bila dia pulang, aku akan tanya lagi (dahlah kata nak pergi bersama tapi nak ikut masa pakwenya &#8211; aku ada hari ni dan esok saja yang tak kerja!) &#8211; kalau tak boleh bagi jawapan muktamad, nak pergi beli tiket untuk bas esok. Bolehnya pandu &#8216;ngan perlahan untuk balik ke sini kerana tak kerja.<br />

<p>First you tell me the bus service is cancelled.<br />
Fine.<br />
I can&#8217;t take the 10am one because I will only finish at 1pm, so I said I&#8217;d like a refund.<br />
It&#8217;s last minute but I managed to get a seat for $79 &#8211; and since it&#8217;s quite a rush to get to the airport to be in time for that ticket&#8217;s flight, I would have to spend at least another $38 to get the shuttle.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s still okay.</p>
<p>Then I get another email today saying my bus from Hastings is delayed for two hours&#8230;<br />
I&#8217;m still fine with that. No need to get up groggily to catch the bus.</p>
<p>BUT!</p>
<p>Then yet ANOTHER email comes through and tell me that the so-called cancelled service is not cancelled but rescheduled to 4pm (it was 3pm initially) !!!!!!!!!!!!<br />
After I&#8217;ve booked my flight ticket!</p>
<p>ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!<br />
Instead of spending less than $100 for my return trip, I&#8217;m now forking out more than $100 just for my trip back from Wellington.</p>

<p>Not that I don&#8217;t know the solutions/proactive steps.</p>
<p>So DON&#8217;T tell me what I should do to &#8220;have&#8221; friends/people to go out with.</p>
<p>DON&#8217;T say you&#8217;d adjust your time according to me because I would then feel guilty and FORCED to go.</p>
<p>BAHHHHHH!!!</p>
<p>I may just be home/friend/comfort-sick.<br />
I just want to crawl under covers and never come out &#8211; ever!</p>

<p>So I got a <em>saman</em> today because they saw me holding my phone &#8211; I was using it with the speaker phone function. I did wrong, I pay the price <em>lor</em> but really <em>tak tau malu</em> at all to ask right out for <em>duit kopi</em>.<br />

<p>Then the iSight camera decided to show me what it means by green indicator light on and black screen. I read about the camera problem in MyMUG forum and behold! One week after the purchase I get to experience it first hand.<br />
[Though after rebooting the computer, it's working again]</p>
<p>Will pop by the reseller&#8217;s place to enquire about this later.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Supposed to go to KB today but we missed out flight.<br />Initially when Jason called me, I thought he was just pulling my leg &#8211; telling me the gate has been closed, asking me what time is our flight to KB and telling me that the flight is at 7.20am instead of our usual 7.40am&#8230;</p>
<p>When I got there, true enough. KB &#8211; 7.20am. Whaaaa&#8230;?!!</p>
<p>Went to the information counter to <em>kecoh</em>. The lady told us, &#8220;Yes. It&#8217;s 7.20am and your itinerary also says that it&#8217;s 7.20am&#8221;</p>
<p>That cannot be! Because I remember when I booked the flight, time was still 7.40am &#8211; the thing is, there isn&#8217;t any email or text to inform us that the flight has been changed! We wanted to know when they started changing their time schedule to KB. C&#8217;mon! Jason goes to KB almost every two weeks if not every week! </p>
<p>The lady asked me, &#8220;Is your number 012*******?&#8221; because she said I should&#8217;ve received a message. Well, no. I didn&#8217;t get any heads up about the change!</p>
<p>And she tells me about the itinerary but I told her that the itinerary that was sent TO me is 7.40am &#8211; and of course, they asked for my print out copy&#8230;which we don&#8217;t carry. I printed it out but more for means of filing in my claims. *hehe*</p>
<p>After waiting for about 40 minutes, she told us that the new schedule was rolled out on 30th January. Hah! She checked my booking date it was 14th January. I&#8217;m not lying! </p>
<p>So she got our flights changed to Monday. I had to message Eunice to tell her we weren&#8217;t going to KB &#8211; she helped us get 6 boxes of oranges! Hopefully it&#8217;d be okay but I&#8217;m more concerned about troubling her to lug it into her room to store it. Whoops!</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not funny going all the way to the airport, waking up at crazy hours to find out that we missed our flight! Thank God it was with Jason, if not company prolly thinks I overslept or something then couldn&#8217;t claim my flight fare!<br />
