She is such a cutie and so far, such a joy to be with. Joanne and Kevin says that she is at her best when they are guests around and can be quite hard to handle in private. I just can’t imagine it, though.

Blessed Christmas everybody!
Had a pretty low-key-food-full celebration today. I had to work from 1pm to 5pm (this is my 3rd working Christmas since I came here but I can’t complain because I wanted New Year’s off to meet LiMay) but Carmen’s parents were kind enough to start lunch earlier just to accommodate my work schedule. Since I was told we’d only kick off at about 10am, I got a sleep in!

I had the flour, the pandan leaves and ginger – so when I got home, I made a tiny batch just for the occasion.
Add a little red food colouring to half the dough.
Extra gingery, just the way I like it!

Forrest had his Christmas here earlier because he is leaving for Nelson tomorrow. I was pottering in and out of my room because I was finishing up my visa application form.

I got ahead of myself. Also embarrassed myself, too, by rushing out to the hall (where Forrest, Carmen and Carmen’s parents were) announcing, “HEY GUESS WHAT? It’s 20-12-20-12 today!”

I’ve been SLACK! I remember to take photos of my teeth but keep putting off sharing it – although I know no one minds the lack of updates on them…but you’ve got to see the colours of my ligatures, right?
My last entry about my braces was back in September (I’m glad I created a category for this) – that was the second adjustment. So here are photos of the third, fourth and fifth. The colours are prettier if I didn’t edit them but they are photos of teeth after all, so I have toned them down.
