I had a few things I felt like I wanted/had to do on this day – go back to Seremban for service, go back to Seremban to spend time at home, stay back in Subang – but I could only do so much and I HAD to choose. I chose to stay in Subang in the morning and go back home to Seremban at noon.

Breakfast is served!

Went to U.Hong’s place and here he is, serenading his wife on Valentine’s Day.
*haha*

My aunt looking quite lum-ed.

So lum-ed that we had very nice and sweet 糖水.

BIG SMILES!

Lunch again – home made Hakka 炸肉 (left dish).
Fast forward to the evening – I went out to meet the SKL gang (and more) at HongHui’s place. Every year (in the past), we would have a gathering at HongHui’s and Mi-Chelle’s. HongHui’s would be at night where we would usually have 撈生 (lou sang) and Mi-Chelle’s would usually be on the 3rd day late morning or noon. These gatherings are now hard to come by because HongHui is not in Malaysia most of the time and Mi-Chelle’s married to Penang *hehe*
Although I KNOW these gatherings are very rare, I left early. This CNY proved trickier than ever as I try to maximise my time between friends and family.

Familiar place, HongHui’s parents’ place in Rasah. It’s comforting to come back and see things are still familiar.

You know that, right?

Danny with his boy, Davyn.

Preparing the 鱼生.

I see we have a healthy option this year – I left early but I do wonder if this was attacked by anyone?

Wheeeeeeeee!!!
I waited for the 2nd wave. *hehe*

The host.
Hey, I think I didn’t get 红包 from you+CF! Can’t complain lah because I left early…

BIG CHEESE!
Alaaa, didn’t get the DVDs. *hehe*

The girls – not quite ready.

The girls again! Obviously there were more than one camera – not everyone’s looking at mine.
I left Hong’s place about 11pm?
I didn’t get to wait for Surt – had to push off so I could go to JJKwan’s and then back home to sleep in order to wake up early the next day to spend more time with family! Busy times, indeed!

I hope it’s because she liked it so much!

Very red!

姐 and her sous-chef – they made pizzas…in the middle of the night.

Orange Derrick.
I tried adjusting the colour – CMIAAW! (*haha* I learnt!) No skill (not even eligible to call it “skills”).

Happy Every Day! Poreiz’s matching Valentine’s t-shirts.

“Lelong! Lelong!”

Some were playing rummy, one was taking photos of people playing rummy and one was taking photos of the one taking photos of people playing rummy. Rummy players unaffected.
It was a looooooong day for me and I was glad (at the same time, I was amazed at how fast it went by) to be home to sleep! Hope you all had a great day, too.
