The day started quite early for me (considered early because I usually sleep in on days I don’t have to work – which is everyday since I’m on holiday! *hehe*) – korkor asked me to BE at Subang by 9am but…
I think I arrived at about 945am and SOMEONE WAS STILL ASLEEP! Only by 11am (some dusting and changing of curtains later) we left the house and I was starving!

We in the backseat…

…they at the front.
It’s nice to be chauffeured around. *hehe*

雲吞麵! On my “must eat this time” list.
Unfortunately it wasn’t a very good plate of 雲吞麵. First of all, they seem to have run out of plates and soup bowls (they were stacked in a big pail behind the stall) – so my noodles were served on a styrofoam plate. Not even a sliver of vegetable! A few pieces of 叉燒 and 雲吞 splattered on the side of the plate.
To top it all, it cost RM4.50!!! Korkor said it must be the CNY eve price.

Ah! Memories!
CP Tower at Section16 – we were on our way to OneUtama.

Lovey dovey.

Mom with the huge kitteh!

My turn, my turn! I’ve got the same eyes as the kittehhh!

Splurging on 肉乾! I love me meat!
Well, I usually get it for relatives during CNY – especially when most of them are now in US, I can splurge a bit on the rest that are in Malaysia. *haha!*

The 盆菜 (poon choi) that was ordered for our dinner from Canton-i.
I thought I saw that they were closed – 啊嫂 said they were closed for dining in, not for collection of ordered food/dishes.

Yes, still obsessing over all that meat.

Decoration at home

That basket was from their wedding, I think.

They provided instructions as well.

Oooooooh!

Mom preparing the ingredients for 齋菜 (zhai choi).

Some other ingredients.

More stuff – some are not photographed. For me to know, for you to find out. Secretttttt!

Time out before starting some work.

Looks like it, right?

Act cute…

One more…
Waiting for dinner mah. Usually by this time (it was near 7pm), we would have been finished and everything would’ve been cleaned (because “dinner” starts at 5pm *hehe*).

Ooo! Chickadee bowls!
Me like!
Despite thinking that we wouldn’t have enough to eat (only that one “dish” mah!), we couldn’t even finish the 盆菜 (finish as in wiping out every bit of food that was in the pot – we did finish the top layer, though). It’s a different experience and taste to our usual reunion dinners but in a good way. And like all (most, at least) Chinese families, we ended the night with a 麻將 session.
