I spent a bit of time TRYING to learn how to use Photoshop Elements (PSE) but in the end, I took the plunge and paid for ImageWell to get all my photos resized and watermarked.
:pfft:

I don’t think I’ll be writing much – I had so much to jot down while I was there in that moment but now, after a month…I guess it’s expected that I wouldn’t remember what they were now.
:P

Waiting for the shuttle
The shuttle was late and I was worried it wasn’t booked! I was about to go back into the house (it was threatening to rain, too) and call for a cab when the shuttle drove up the gate.

Yes. Before I got here, “sunniest bay” was what I gathered from the Internet when I searched on HawkesBay.

The flight was pretty good. The back cabin wasn’t too full – we had the middle seat free (between the Irish lady and myself). It was movies all the way to HK because I didn’t want to NOT be able to sleep when I get there (I am glad it’s the newer plane with the AVOD system).

Whee!
5 movies in total and I’m ready to meet HK.
:P
G-Force, Poker King, The Invention of Lying, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Transformers(???) – I can’t remember the last one but I know it was 5 because I didn’t sleep one bit.

More photos!

Poreiz
Happy to see familiar faces! We met at Kowloon Station and took the taxi back to their place.

TaiHing restaurant
Couldn’t find anything that appealed to us at 7-11, so we ended up at TaiHing.
Milk tea for me and fried rice for them.

40th floor
My, my!

My room
My space for the next few days. Room with a view!
:hee:

This is the view at 1am.

6am
This is the view at 6am. I kid you not.
:P
It’s as if I took it at the same time, right?

The view
The view from the hall.

Very high
When I took this shot, I had to stick my camera out of the window. I had scary thoughts about what-if-I-lose-grip-of-my-camera!

Phone
Phone provided by Poreiz. Money to buy credit, too!

Ready
Dressed more like a school kid – ready to go jalan-jalan (finally dared to! :P )
