Honestly, I feel like char chan teng waitress when I’m in my dispensing jacket. Colleagues say I look fine/nice. I may be more sensitive towards it because I’ve watched HK dramas, know what’s the meaning of char chan teng and am Chinese.

So next time you see a Chinese patient walk in, try the opening line, “Harlo, nei oi order jor mei?” in a very Hongkie dialect or something similar. ;P
