Still peeved at the fact our degree is not recognised in the UK.
Good news to the younger generations, though. Apparently, a new version of the course is being accredited and the first students of that new version will graduate in 2011. Until 2011, the twinning course will not be accredited – but get this, BOTH “versions” of the course would co-exist even after 2011.
If you’ve signed up for a course that’s 3.5 years long, be prepared to pack your bags home after graduation.
If it’s 4 years, get your applications ready for summer/student placements for your 3rd year (or is it 4th? or both years?) so that you’d be ready (and probably get to secure a place) for your pre-registration.
If you can’t wait – Nottingham’s course is accredited.
I wish I was 8 years younger. Would just be coming to the end of summer placement.

Ah! One can always dream!
(Then again, it may just be one of those “grass is greener on the other side” moments because being a student with a whole bunch of friends together is completely different from working in a completely new environment. Eh, wait a minute…)
