As things would have it.
The day before I travel, my compact decided to die on me.
I was trying to take a macro shot and the lens gave a weird whirr. When I tried to refocus on the subject, the display went blank and in the end – “Lens error, restart camera.”
The lens is still extended – I can’t even get it to retract after turning the camera on/off for a few times (I even tried taking the battery out for a few minutes).
I was hoping it will come right on its own but it doesn’t look like it’s going to do that anytime soon.
I will bring it into work to see if they can fix it for me (or know what’s wrong) – why do I keep having problems with cameras?!
*sigh*
Well, maybe I’d take less pictures for this trip or I’d take *cough*better*cough* pictures because I only have the other camera to use now.
