[Show and Tell means there are heaps of photos, okay.]

Back to civilisation!
When some people told me that it was nightmare to drive in Auckland, I thought to myself, “If I can drive in KL and Penang, I should be okay.”
It wasn’t too bad – back to roads with more than one lane!!! Yay!

Not too far more to go!
I didn’t get to take a picture when I picked LiMay up in front of Westfield because I didn’t have the luxury of time (besides, I stopped at a no-stopping-zone *haha*).
Slightly late due to weather (and losting, of course) and because LiMay got her bus time mixed up – she arrived an hour earlier!
No pressure…

To make up for it, I took a picture of LiMay in the airport while waiting for Eiz!

Got to the airport just in time to get a text from Eiz saying she’s arrived – we were looking for a park at that time.

This is us going back to AKL city.

Found the service apartment we rented (it was a bargain at $95/night due to their opening special!) and went ahead to check-in.

Waldorf

Jakun tak pernah tengok flat screen TV.

First stop, Chocolate Boutique Cafe at Parnell.

Eiz excited about the fondue.

Eiz introducing Sheepie.

Eiz in a red phone booth just outside the cafe.

LiMay, Eiz, FeR outside said cafe.

Eugene walking away from us loonies to get his car…
…when he got back, we were still at the same spot, taking photos!!!

Quick city tour by MrCheng!

Happy MrCheng!

Mount Eden

Laughing because too cold.

Huddling together for warmth.
Penguins do that.

LiMay with the slightly foggy city view (it was raining earlier in the morning).

We convinced Eiz to wear a skirt…but it’s seriously cold up there!

I think Eugene also sejuk lah!

Tahan…while in actual fact, teeth were chattering.

LiMay, FeR.

FeR, Eiz.

Hastings – 355km away.
Why did it take me so long to drive that distance?

LiMay didn’t look impressed.

Beer sample.
The youngest of our lot ordered this for us to try.

“Yam seng!!!”

Sausages, pot of mussels (they are apparently femes for this), seafood platter.

FeR, Eugene.

De Fontein for dinner, Movenpick for dessert!

Mission Bay.
The sky cleared up! No more rain! Yay!

Smoke signal clouds.

Whoosh!

Happy Eiz with Sheepie!

Dessert time after pictures by the beach.

Had first semi-fight (on just day ONE!) over sharing or not sharing, which flavour and the embarrassment of people waiting behind us while we decide.

In the end, it was Stracciatella, Maple Walnut and Tiramisu!

Viaduct by night. Picture perfect!

You can FEEL how elated LiMay was!

Last picture of us girls before heading back to bed.
