Confirmation through post

by FeR on December 11, 2008 in Him & faith, work

[Above all, PRAISE GOD for everything!!! I can only say that it was a miracle blessing and nothing else. I cannot imagine getting through this without a miracle. It's amazing and the song that runs through my head now - "Who am I that You are mindful of me?"]

After checking the register search online, I actually rang mom and told her, “I think I passed.”

“What do you mean you THINK?”

So I told her about the website and the register search and how it was previously “Intern”.

I was hopeful but yet worried there was any error – not until I received a real confirmation of my results that I could be certain of it.

I explained my observation to Carmen as well – my name was missing from the register (I was worried!!! I must have been REALLY bad to have my name struck off the register!) for a few days before today but it was previously there as an intern…then now it’s there with my scope of practice changed to “Pharmacist”. I checked it against Carl’s name (because he got his results yesterday and he passed) and his was “Pharmacist” as well!

I told Carmen, if there’s mail for me, text me!

As things would have it, I left my phone on the dining table!
Carmen rang me at work and told me there was mail for me with “certificate enclosed, do not bend” on it – “Do you want me to bring it down to you?”

“YES, PLEASE!”

She brought my mail AND my phone as well…shy only wei! Caroline came in saying, “There’s a lady looking for Jennifer the pharmacist.”

Carmen said, “Oh! I thought she told you!”
(She meant my register search theory – but we’ve been so busy nobody had any time to listen to me and my theories!)

I put the envelope aside and I could feel eyes looking at me – so shy! Because even customers were looking to see what was the commotion about!

According to the website

by FeR on December 11, 2008 in work

According to the Council’s website

Scope of Practice: Pharmacist

I hope it’s not a fluke.

(The Council’s website would only make sense if you knew my surname – because that’s the easiest one to search for – I’m the only one with that surname)

How old am I?

by FeR on December 8, 2008 in new to me

I went to the library (finally) today to apply for a card.

“If you don’t mind me asking, how old are you?”
“Uhm…I’m 27.”
“Oh, it’s just that you look so young I thought you may be applying for the junior card.”

But hear this, junior’s card is for below 16. :pfft:
Cannot be THAT dao kei kuaa?

Red or Blue?

by FeR on December 7, 2008 in eating out

It’s quite a sight.
On one hand I had a red box and on the other, a blue box. And they are both completely opposites.

Red for KFC
This was the red…

Blue for Detox
…this was the blue.

I told myself I will start the detox after the work-do…now I say, I will start tomorrow so this is my last KFC. :pfft:

Christmas work-do

by FeR on December 7, 2008 in work

Christmas work-do
Since I was the last on the pick-up list, I sat up front.
Work arranged for taxis so that people won’t drink and drive – safe, kan?

Christmas work-do
We had the party here – it was organised by a few good people (I don’t know who else other than Bunty and Keryn but I think there were a few others as well).
We arrived at about 7pm – just in time.
