Since I was the last on the pick-up list, I sat up front.
Work arranged for taxis so that people won’t drink and drive – safe, kan?

We had the party here – it was organised by a few good people (I don’t know who else other than Bunty and Keryn but I think there were a few others as well).
We arrived at about 7pm – just in time.

I had to do something to keep me from talking nonsense!
I had half a glass of bubbly by now and I’m feeling flushed! No food yet mah!

Food!!!
I took a bit of everything – even greens! I’m so proud of myself! ![]()
We had green salad, fruit salad, saut’e9ed mushrooms, baked new potatoes+herbs, fried kumara, steamed asparagus+baby carrots, broccoli+cauliflower with cheese sauce, fried fish chips, turkey roll (I think it’s turkey!), beef and ham.

Bubbly wine for the night!

I love the Brandy snaps (in my blur self, I said “Brandy crunch”) – so much that when Viv went out to get dessert, I asked her to get another one for me.
Babi betul, man…

FeR, Viv, Kimberley
I always go, “Hey Kim!…berley” because I always forget she doesn’t like being called “Kim”. It’s like when some people at work calls me “Jenny” and it makes me cringe – so I understand how it feels. I do try, though!

A proper one of Kimberley and a “normal” one of myself.
They told us that taxis would arrive at 12am to whisk us home (I was sleepy by the time it was about 9pm – I blame the 2.5 glasses of wine) but only the Napier one turned one. The Hastings one did not turn up! We had to wait (and Rory as well as Steve has to ring them) till near 1am! Outside the function room!
When we finally got our taxi, Rachel wanted to have pie! *haha*
I cannot tahan man, despite having to walk from the main road, I jumped off the taxi (because we passed the turning into QueenStreet) and walked/half-ran back home. I couldn’t wait to get to bed!

Empty street.
Hello bed! I missed you…ZZzZzzzzz
