Sandra invited me over for a quick bite of lunch at her place.
My taste buds are slowly changing.
I took beetroot and it tasted like boiled white radish (after it’s been boiled with chicken bones *hehe*) – it was actually quite nice. Very “rooty” though.
I actually took raw tomatoes! And I didn’t squirm or swallow without thoroughly chewing through them. The tomatoes here aren’t as sour/acidic as back home!
And all these came from not wanting to offend the hostess or make both of us feel bad.
When I first saw “JLow”, I thought it was from Julie because that’s what she calls herself (She goes, “I’m also J-Lo what.”)
Then I saw the Australian stamp and went ooo!
Lovey sticker at the back.
It’s a save-the-date for Joanne’s wedding next year in Adelaide. With a magnet so you can stick it on your fridge and not forget.
*hehe*
This would make it the third cousin getting married to a third nationality in a third continent.
Julie+Ronald’s wedding was in Netherlands. Ronald is Dutch.
Manda+Mike’s wedding was in America. Mike is American.
Bobo+Arron’s wedding is going to be in Australia. Arron is Australian.
