As I’m having my late breakfast (nothing flashy, just peanut butter on wholemeal bread and a cup of coffee), I thought about going to work today.
For those who know (looking at Hazel) and bothered to “track” which is my “short week” (4 days’ work), this is my short week. I’m going to work today because Anna is on holiday. Although it’s the late shift, I’m only working till 5pm and thereafter, Caroline would take over till 8pm.
So!
Other than it being the “short week”, it’s also the “get paid week”.
Funny thing?
It isn’t the same as back home. I look forward to pay day at the end of the month back home (maybe because of the monthly frequency, thus I’m more hadap for it?)…
For here I go, “Oh! So fast two weeks already!” ![]()
That was what I was thinking while having breakfast.
(Supposed to fill up my primary healthcare and intervention forms but mind is obviously not in it)
And for that, I thank You, Lord.
Thank You that despite having a low pay at the moment, I still have enough.
I’m sorry I’ve ever thought of hutang-ing Your tithe first but I’m glad to say I didn’t (well, except for my first wage – but I still have it in record. Yea! My budget and stuff is on an Excel spread, okay! I should get around paying that first amount…)
After setting money aside for tithe, rental, bills (yea, I’ve got bills – broadband and mobile.
)…I will have enough for food – there is no doubt. You will never let me go hungry.
Thank You for blessing me with friends who wants to bless me (You know who you are!)
Thank You for Your providence.
Though life is simple, days are quiet…I’m just glad I still have You.
