YAY!!!! so you received finally!! :)
But seriously,i was worried you may not get it, or may only get it after the Olympic is over, then no fun right? So *pheeww* you did receive it before the closing right? :P Snail mails..
See nowadays snail mails are not as popular, what more postcards, somemore all in English, was afraid the postoffice there couldn't understand too well and sort it into the mails for some european countries or what and may get lost somewhere out there all over the world. That's why i made sure to write the country's name in chinese properly, somemore must write it the China's way - as in, they call New Zealand as新西兰, instead of 纽西兰 like wat we do in Malaysia. As in, literal translation of "NEW"= 新, instead of using 纽 by pronunciation. (Wonder why they still call New York 纽约? or have they also changed already? :hmm: )
And ya, the stamps thing kindda backfired. Me too, love snail mails with pretty stamps, and i've always believe that if you're paying the same amount for stamps anyway, why not make up the stamp fare with a few variety of pretty small value stamps rather than only 1 stamp with full value, right? Except i forgot to bring postcard & check space for stamps.. :pfft: Hence the postcard full of stamps, no place to write(eh,did i remember to sign off on the postcard?).
But hey, knew you'd love that! :hee: so honoured it's now on the wall!

p/s: thought that was a sarcasm calling me a "conversationalist" for a postcard full of stamps & 3sentences... now i realise... :pfft:
