If you’ve got the booklet (A Guide On Food To Crave For – peach in colour) from Gardens, flash it to the waiter and get a free order of Sweet Potato Balls if your bill comes up to more than RM50. Valid up till April 15th.
Gave my copy away so I couldn’t post the picture up.

I think I’ve passed this place a few times but never ventured in. If not for Q, I wouldn’t have thought about going there.

Why?
Dunno wor.

It’s a Taiwan Restaurant near Borders’ end of Gardens.

f0 or something like that – it’s number 16 on the menu.
Comes with rice, soup and some snacks on the side. So cute!

It was tasty, though a bit on the sweet side.
If you’re a small eater, it’s probably better to share with another person.

The rice comes garnished with minced pork (okay, with coriander, too!) and as for the little snacks on the side…I was served with a fried beancurd (placed on top of peanut butter??), a mini yam puff (wu kok – or at least, that’s what it tasted like to me) and lotus roots.

Q’s dish – three chillies beef?

Not a very good person to ask about all these. Bring me there and I can point it out to you but to remember the exact name now…oh dear!

Sweet Potato Balls (this, I remember!) that came free because our bill came up to RM60++ (two sets and drinks).

I’ve never been to their other outlets (which apparently has been around for quite some time. I think SooYin wrote about it before last time, too!) but maybe I would drop by another time to try their other “signature” dishes.

[Note to self: Search on how to make Sweet Potato Balls! :hee: ]
