First saw this restaurant when I visited Gardens for the first time.
It was with Keat – had time to kill before Stardust started – and I also bumped into my “personal shopper”. It’s no wonder I’ve not seen him in ZaraBU for AGES. I forgot his name but still remember the cashier’s.
When we first saw the restaurant, they had a fugu fish promotion – it has ended but at the moment, there’s a 25% off the sashimi moriawase (price before discount is RM150) – serves 3 to 5 people.
Before deciding to go to Yuzu, we (Surt and I) wanted to go back to Kin San Kichi because we were thinking about the sashimi served there. We ended up in Gardens. How come, huh?

830pm

Mixed sashimi

A very interesting presentation.
Shawn: See hum!
Very big see hum indeed…but I don’t think it is. The clam shell is just used as a deco, kot.

Soft shell crab temaki…after my first bite, I can’t see the crab no more!

Mixed sushi

And I thought, “Hey! That girl’s wearing the same colour t-shirt as me!”

Vegetables that tasted so much like Indomie. *hehe*

Wagyu beef.
If there is one reason to come back here, I would say this is it.
With this Wagyu beef, I finally understood what it meant by “meat that melts in your mouth”. I never could imagine how can meat (!!!) “melt” in your mouth…and now I do.
Remind me not to go out dinner with siew yeh anymore because I cannot afford that kind of dining – especially at the moment where I need to save up (as much as I possibly can) for NZ. I was thinking of Kin San Kichi, that’s why I agreed to Japanese. *sigh*
RM100+ per person and I didn’t leave the restaurant feeling full with food (but with green tea *heh!*) Sorry to be such a kiam siap sounding person but I guess it’s really yat fan chin yat fan for because we had selections that were top-notch (take the Wagyu, for instance). The beef…oh, the beef! Definitely something to have/try when you’re here.
To be fair, I’ve seen the price tag on their set meals and it’s quite comparable to other places. I wanted to have the sushi and tempura set (I think it was tagged at RM38)…but didn’t kick up a fuss when the rest decided to order and share. My own fault lah, right?
No more expensive food! Max RM50 per person, can ah? And don’t be offended if I reject your makan offers…
