Din Tai Fung, Gardens

din tai fung
Went for lunch with Qynn at the Gardens after settling things at the office.

[Tried to call NZ but turned out I keyed in the number wrongly! By the time I got it right, pharmacist left already. I'd have to try again on Monday.]

*hehe*

Found a fellow friend (though a bit late – she’s also leaving Malaysia soon) who shares the same love for the place with me.

pork chop fried rice
The last time I was here, I didn’t get to enjoy this as much because I wasn’t feeling well.

tofu
Beancurd that is Qynn’s favourite.
Looks like as if it’s burnt liao, right? :P

siew loong pau
This is, of course, a must!
Though it does look as if they’ve shrunk in size. For this size and quality, it’s probably better to go to Soho…but Soho don’t have the fried rice that I like!

Going for lunch with Qynn reminded me of two people – Surt and Kay.
Surt loves vinegar and doesn’t take the ginger slices while Kay loves taufu! Exactly the same situation. Siew loong pau with Surt and Kay purposely ordering taufu because it’s her favourite. :D

It’s true that we only REALLY miss something/someone when they are not around. Two months to make up for everything, ya!
