While playing mahjong, Surt asked us if we wanted to have dinner together with SooKam. I still had reports to do but…uhmm…well, since I’m already “a year late”…but I told her that I’d see if by the time it’s 7pm, whether I’m done with my reports or not.
In the end, she said the magic word – *hehe* – (man, I feel like such a freeloader to write this down) – that SK wanted to give us a treat. Everyone agreed after that.

We all asked, “Ermm…is there something to announce? Why suddenly one?”

We went to Kin San Kichi in Hartamas.

I think they (Surt and SK) dine here quite often.

Sin and Keat studying the menu…it’s like studying a text book!

Bowls of green tea. *hehe*

My alco friend with her equally alco bf…less than half the bottle was left from their last visit.

The amazing “bartender”!

SK looking in amusement.

Edamame being served first to go together with the wine, like peanuts for beer.

Nama Masu & Bachi Maguro Sashimi
Now I know why Surt says she gets full after a plate of sashimi…look at the cut!

Nama Masu & Tako Sashimi

Mixed sushi

Chawan Mushi is almost always a must for me!
The best I’ve had (in sense of ingredients) is still the one from Hajime.

Gyoza

Kani Karage Roll

Ling, FeR. Hot wasabi!
*hehe*

Keat’s Garlic Fried Rice

SK’s Fried Rice with Crab Meat CharSiew

Ling’s Unagi Set

Sin’s Beef Teppanyaki Set
I could taste the butter but other than that…it was quite flat in taste.

Nasu Niku Itame

My Chicken Teppanyaki Set

Pork slices with eggplant
We started the year by being gluttons – not exactly helping my resolution to lose weight, right?
Thanks for the meal, SK!
We did ask, “So…we’re all here. We’re ready to hear your announcement.”
He looked so blur when we said that – took a while for him to find out we were teasing them.
It’s back to work tomorrow…
