Go for dinner with yee mah. She said she’d be back today…

All of them in London now.

Kena ffk by my own aunty…

-_-”

If I didn’t message to ask what time to meet up, I wouldn’t know that they’re not back yet. Prolly in the end, I wouldn’t get to meet her before she leaves for US. Is this “pay back” for not being to meet her when I was in US?

*hehe*

From wanting to go out with JoFo and LiMay, to going out to the pasar malam with Surt and SK…I finally ended up going out for dinner with FC, Sally and KinFei at KuchaiLama.

Went to this restaurant called Chicken Pot (or rather, Chongqing Chicken Hot Pot – what a long name!)

Wanted to have more variety so we ordered small portions of three meat varieties.
Clockwise from top: Dinosaur Ribs, Beef Behemoth and Chicken Hot Pot
RM16 for each pot (small portion)

Chicken
This one is somewhere near tasting like chik kut teh. *hehe* I like this soup the best.

You could add more broth in as you eat your way through to the bottom of the pot. They don’t charge you for the extra broth.

Beef
This one tasted like Korean instant noodles (according to Sally – I was less “classy” to just say it tasted like MaggiMee)

DinosaurRibs – it’s actually Pork lah!
A bit too sweet for my liking. Sweeter than pai kuat wong. To me, meat should be savoury!

You can also go grab some ready portions of beancurd, fish/meatballs and vegetables to add to your soup.

“Eh, you eat more than me this time, huh?”

*hehe*

It was a very filling meal. You can add more broth to be boiled with your meat and eat till 2am! (*hehe* KinFei asked, they close at 2am…I’m assuming you can lepak till 2am lah!)
Only with the pork ribs you couldn’t do so (the adding of broth and boiling)…I don’t know why and Sally don’t remember the lady’s explanation from their previous visit.
Seriously, though…the meal gets better as time passes by because the soup gets “sweeter”.
