Byebye Poreiz!

by FeR on December 1, 2007 in family & friends

It was agreed for our extra practice to be pushed to 145pm instead of being there at 11am (at least for the few of us who were at the airport to send Poreiz off).

JoFo got permission to have “Kiki” to bring us to the airport and on the way there, we passed by quite a number of army trucks (we think it’s Australian because one of the trucks had “Australia” on it). We also skodeng at the passengers lah

“Wah…next!”
“Wah…why all so old one?”

*passes by one of the smaller trucks*

*JoFo and FeR looks at each other*

“WHOOOOOAAAA!!!”

*laughs*
*giggles*

I don’t know why we tend to crouch when people ask us to come closer together. Pfft. Not like there’s anyone at the back of us also.

Last picture of Poreiz and her of us.

She didn’t cry while hugging us younger ‘uns…though I saw her eyes were slightly teary. She started crying when she got to hugging her mom. Paul selamba only, looking excited to go off. *hehe*

We will miss you, Hazel. Take good care of yourself and keep us updated through your blog!

Very long day

Since they only went through the gate at about 1pm, we were late to get back to church for practice – we arrived at about 205pm.

The stage greets us as we enter the sanctuary.

I think we practiced for more than an hour – working to “perfect” our pitching, singing, diction, expressions, tone. By the time we were done, it was time for tracking with 29:11 – madness! I’ve not been home since morning and I wasn’t in a “suitable” gear to go walking around. I thought I would have time to go home, get Phoebe and change into shorts. Well…

Thank God the weather was kind, though. *hehe*

After tracking, got home and napped for a bit before going out to get some stuff from Jusco. I thought by going out at about 9pm, it would be easier to get a parking but nooooooooooooooo. Boy, was I wrong. It was equally MAD!

*sigh*

Seremban people no where else to go meh? If not because Jusco was the nearest the house, I would’ve gone elsewhere.

Caramelizing banana. I think I’m not supposed to use bananas that are a too ripe but that was the only ones I have. Purposely bought them so it would be ready to eat and softer if I need to mash them up (sweeter, too!).

In the midst of madness (trying to recreate the cake I baked on Tuesday – but my baking is not consistent so it came out…not as I would like it), this keeps me going.
