Farewell BBQ for PorEiz

by FeR on November 9, 2007 in family & friends

Ah! Ever since I got back from my holiday, I look forward to my weekends.

I think I’m still suffering from post-holi blues.
*hehe*

Soon Paul+Hazel would be leaving for HK…this time around, Hazel is more excited (not teary eyed!)…
I would be excited, too if I had such a beautiful apartment to “start-over” in!
*hehe*
She showed me the video of their new apartment and it’s GORGEOUS! I aspire to own something like that one day – apartment with a view, plenty of light and everything nicely fitted (no wet bathrooms!!!)

I asked JoFo to come pick me up from the house because I don’t know how to get to Johnny’s place. I don’t even know how to get to LeisureMall…am pretty lost in Cheras area. We thought it would take some time for us to get there (I think we left the house at about 640pm?) because of the notorious Cheras jam but we completely forgot that it was a public holiday the day before. The roads were clear! We were the firsts to arrive at Johnny’s place.

Thank God I asked JoFo to pick me up because I don’t think I would’ve made it if I were to drive and navigate on my own.

JoFo says it looks like JB, I say it looks rather like BU.

One of the corns had a visitor!

Unconventional corn.

Suppose to start at 730pm but the fire was started at 715pm…took quite some time before the charcoals were just right.

745pm – Hazel all ready to go!
Hazel: I like to BBQ one!

Well, when she goes to HK, the popular thing to do during winter would be having steamboats rather than BBQ lor.

Most of the wings were probably done by her…makes me hungry now looking at this picture (but at that time we were all too stuffed to finish everything!)

Didn’t take a lot of pictures because I was too busy stuffing face – it’s been some time since I went for a BBQ (I love BBQ chicken wings, actually!)

Paul giving a speech.

Sally: Don’t want Hazel to give speech, after she cry then we have to wait for her to finish.
*hehe*

All the best, you guys! Will definitely miss going to GurneyHeights every Wednesday – though I hardly get to attend cell these days.
(I will not visit you in HK *hehe*)
One year since I started work in KL and it’s been a source of encouragement – especially in the midweek when everyone’s feeling drained.
