Mid Autumn Festival

These days I feel very unmotivated to do much (work wise) because I know I’m never going to be able to reach my target – so why stress so much, right?

Most of the time I feel red-face-ashamed after losing my temper. Sometimes it’s just a small thing but because of what has happened before or because it was a bad day, I just snap. *sigh*

Back to Mid Autumn Festival – we had a good one tonight, in a way. It was the company that matters, right? Korkor came back (earlier than me! I’m surprised! *hehe* I arrived back from JB at about 740pm) and Hong kaufoo‘s family also came over for dinner together.

While the older ones played mahjong, I played with candles and paper lanterns with my younger cousins.
[Whenever I open the top kitchen cupboard to take out my baking stuff, I see the leftover lanterns and candles from...don't know when. I reminded myself that I will use/play with it when Mid Autumn comes. I almost forgot and it was only at about 930pm that I remembered taking it out.]

The only “dark corner” in the garden was where the durian tree is (also used that tree to hang up the lanterns) – a narcissistic photo is a must!

The yellow one is my favourite. Took a lot of pictures of it. In this picture, you could see one of the lantern’s candle went off.
After the cousins left for home, I had a difficult time trying to keep all the lanterns lighted. By the time I get to the last one (to have all the lanterns lighted), the first one would have gone out. Pfft.

Alas! My favourite one got burnt. *sigh*

Leftover paper lanterns and candles from yesteryear. Don’t remember when was the last time we bought lanterns+candles. The LAST time I remember putting up lanterns like this was when we were in the 95 RJ house.
Hmmm…though mom did mention that when grandma shifted to S2, we celebrated the first Mid Autumn Festival with her. Maybe it was from then?

Till next year…
