I did it!
Uhm…*haha*
I meant I finally went and got blood samples taken for all those tests that they needed before my next MOPD (Medical Out Patient Department) appointment next week (24th March). Dang! I forgot to take note of the nurse’s name, the one who gave me a painless time. I was so afraid that I almost pissed in my pants…
Y’know at times when you’re just so afraid that you go all giggly just to cover it up? Stupid me was like that the whole time while the nurse was calmly (very professionally) taking about 10cc of blood from me.
Woik! 10cc doesn’t seem much but seeing it in a syringe…
*wobbly knees*
It looked like half of me has gone in there. 10cc from a calcium gluconate vial is not much. 10cc from a soluvit vial is not much…but 10cc from yours truly is like…is like…a whole lot!
But the nurse was really good. She did it in less than 2 minutes. And no bruise! Not like the last time in Royal Infirmary. Poke sampai blue-black, yet no blood. Hmmph.
Well, well. I need not act anymore!
*yay!!*
I am very happy standing together with the choir, croaking my lungs out, thankyouverymuch. Jocelyn would have to act then…don’t know who will guide us when she leaves temporarily for stage. Maybe Derrick.
I’m posted in TDM (Therapeutic Drug Monitoring) right now…till end of April. So far so good. It’s the recording of patient’s info and progress that’s a dragggggggg.
This is so silly.
A doctor wanted to have a TDM done for a patient who’s on Vancomycin. I’ve already interpreted the results and sent them the report. The drug level in the patient’s blood has gone into the toxic side. The sensible thing is to withold the drug for 3 days and then restart it on a lower dose. But noooooo…he just changed it to the lower dose and now wants me to do another TDM report on this same patient.
*fed up*
You want me to interpret and tell you what to do but you don’t want to follow it. What’s the point?
Anyway, Miss Leong, though I am not going to be dragged across the stage, do come for the drama if possible, okie?
*haha*
It’s for 3 days! Take a pick.
I’m feeling like cereal! Honey stars, here I come.
To end, this is what I typed with the old-fashioned type-writer today when I had no TDM appointments/forms to do.
there was a fat cat
the cat was black
so it didn’t mind that it was fat
because to be slim is black
and it was a cat
