Carmen sent this to me as I was getting off work - because she’s not feeling well and went ahead into bed early.

Why do I still dream of being in the same situation and reaction with you?
Why am I still a pushover in my dream?
Why is it when I’m angry in a situation, I still put it aside to accommodate you - in my dream?!!

How come I never dream of you often enough?
Have I forgotten you?
I close my eyes and I can still see you, literally smiling at me. Happy to see me. Every single time.
Suddenly a video of you I posted on YouTube is not there anymore - why?

Why do I not see you anymore? Or at all, since you’ve left us 5 years ago.
Does that mean I do not miss you?

Dreams are funny things, no?
Some say it’s what you think of subconsciously.
Some say it’s an extension of what you WERE thinking of right before you got to bed.
Some say it’s what you’ve forgotten or suppressed.
Some say it’s a flash of the future (but you wake up forgetting it)
Some say it’s a representation of an omen.

Odd.
Very odd.
Because all the things above do not match what I dreamt of.

Yes I am!
I’m a sucker when it comes to informercials regarding ways to achieve “flawless skin”!

*sigh*

But I did resist Proactiv because it contains benzoyl peroxide in both their cleanser and moisturiser - which I’ve tried (Benzac from the hospital) and never worked for me. It worries me (though they claim it’s gentle enough for everyday use) that with both cleanser and moisturiser having BP in it, it can irritate the skin in some individuals - I definitely do not want to end up with red, blotchy skin.
If I really want to give it a go, I’d probably opt for Oxy (they don’t have Oxy here but they have PanOxyl - same active ingredient) - cheaper kan?

How can you not stop/reprimand your 7 year old when the child refers to you as a female dog?

How can you snigger and joke about your 16 year old shouting “**** you!” with your work colleagues?

It’s not even funny.

[Sure enough, it's been CRAZY yesterday...I only got my lunch at 3pm - which I gobbled down in 5 minutes and went back to work again. It was non-stop action that Rory didn't get to check off much of the medicopaks - maybe less than 10?]

I think I’ve been “good” so far to not succumb to temptation to “eat out” (which would mean having fast food takeaways) but for some weird reason I was very determined to find a McD’s when I was away on trip to Dunedin. I was hoping that they’d have one in Wellington’s airport but in the end, I found one in Dunedin (yes, I was walking around looking for Starbucks and McD’s - such attraction. )

Honestly, I was walking around looking for the law office - when I found it, I went looking for Starbucks (and couldn’t believe I didn’t see one single fast food outlet - except for Subway - around the Octagon) and what do you know…further down the road, on the opposite side - there was what I’ve been looking for all afternoon (sort of. )

There were two long queues but the supervisor/manager (?) came around and took our orders (electronically) - all we had to do then was to pay up when it’s our turn and take our orders.
